Truecaller Introduces Call Recording to Help Report Harassment and Fraudulent Calls

Today, Truecaller is introducing a new Premium feature, Call Recording, to help report harassment and fraud for its users. This comes as another great upgrade in their efforts to improve their Premium offerings.

People use Truecaller to help their communication be more safe and efficient. From their users identifying new business clients, to empowering women to avoid and report harassment, or for everyone being protected from potential fraud. Truecaller has been there to safeguard calls and SMS and give you the right to know who is trying to get in contact. With the added feature of Call Recording, this will empower their users to keep track of important conversations they have with businesses, colleagues, and people.

Call Recording has been a highly-requested feature from Truecaller users for some time, therefore, the team decided to develop and combine it into their Premium package along with Who Viewed Your Profile.

How Call Recording Works

When a Premium user dials or receives a call, they can toggle on the recording feature from the Truecaller Caller ID screen. The recordings are then stored on the user’s phone.

All users who do not have a Premium subscription can try Call Recording for free on a 14-day trial.

Please note: Call recordings are stored locally on the user’s phone, and does not touch Truecaller’s servers. The user who records calls is responsible for following local laws around two-way consent.

The facility, which will accommodate 80 girls, will help support and improve the access to quality education in the area. “Access to quality education is affected by a myriad of challenges in this country. Inadequate infrastructure is one of them.  The situation is even more dire for our girls thus the reason we are here today to commission this dormitory. We believe that this facility will be a critical resource to help keep our girls in school and together with other partners we will work to ensure that we change the narrative about girls missing school due to menstruation,” said Anthony Ng’ang’a,  Associate Brand Director -Commercial Leader - East Africa at Procter & Gamble (P&G)...

They are not yet ready to consider the needs and feelings of others. Developing a sense of empathy is an important developmental process for young children. It is at the heart of good relationships, and it begins with valuing others and their perspectives....
